EDIT: The upgrade to WordPress 2.0 went pretty smoothly and the problems seem to have abated for now.

Guess all I had to do was mention trouble. Started noticing images not loading (which wreaks havoc with the layout) as well as random “forbidden” errors today.

I have a trouble ticket in to the hosting company…surf gingerly for a bit.

I’ve been putting off upgrading to WordPress 2 here because I’m afraid theming and plug-ins may break, but now Dave over at d13 design has made some great-sounding additions to the gallery plug-in I’m using, so I believe it’s time to take the plunge. There may be a couple hours of downtime Sunday if things go badly.

Glad you made it. You’ll need a recent version of Macromedia’s Flash plug-in to hear the audio samples here, and the video of student work is in Apple’s QuickTime format. If you have any questions or difficulties, please email me, ch9 at umbc dot edu.
